The Spanish Institute Ramon Berenguer IV, situated in a village near Barcelona - Santa Coloma de Gramenet, hosted 15 teachers and 19 students from Poland, Latvia, Italia and Croatia.
The activities began on Sunday 1st February, after all groups had arrived in Sta. Coloma from El Prat airport. The week schedule was presented at the first meeting following the introduction of all partners –teachers and students, during the evening dinner.
During the week there were many activities: a presentation of Spanish Education System; project work for teachers; CLIL subjects presentations (ICT, History, Literature & Films, Theatre), cultural activities (Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Caixa Fòrum, MNAC museum, Museu d’Història de Catalunya) and some visits to Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Barcelona to show Spanish history and culture. Additionally, there were three conferences: opening, closing and another one done by Albert Vitrià, the representative of Educational Catalonia Department, about CLIL origin and its importance.
