Publications about 3rd meeting in Poland
date: from 1st to 7th of October 2017-
A week with the Sports Formula project
In the first week of October the Polish school hosted teachers and students from Italy, Croatia, Latvia and France participating in the Erasmus + programme.
Twenty students and twelve teachers from four European schools stayed in our school for one week from 1st to 7th of October as part of the mobility of the "Sports Formula" project. Selected students from third and fourth classes were directly involved in realisation of the project.
Young people with the accompanying teachers learned about Polish culture, traditions and history. They were delighted with Warsaw and our Polish hospitality. Students learned about Nicolaus Copernicus and Maria Curie-Sklodowska during prepared multimedia classes.
Together we visited the birthplace of the most famous Polish Nobel Prize winner in the Warsaw old town. The next day we visited Torun, the home town of Nicolaus Copernicus. We learned the secrets of diverse engineering and science together in the Copernicus Science Center. The Copernicus Science Center has always made a great impression on our guests.
The openness, ingenuity, and positive energy of our students made it an amazingly successful week and everyone complimented our work and organization. In spite of the bad weather our guests took very good memories to their school and many positive experiences. There was science, sport, little culinary pleasures and lots of fun. photoreport: http://zseil.edu.pl/fotoreportaze/?id=304
